Embracing Growth: My City2Surf Mini Challenge

Welcome to another insightful journey with Kaizen Remedial Massage Therapy, where we believe in the power of continuous improvement - the philosophy of Kaizen, to "change for the better," and working towards growth, step by step.

This year, I'm taking a new challenge - to complete the City2Surf run within a certain time limit. Last year, I boldly stepped into the world of running as part of this incredible event, trading my swimming goggles for running shoes. It was a striking change of pace, but one that added a thrilling new layer to my life.

Now, a year later, I'm lacing up my running shoes once again for this year's running challenge. With a whole year of casual running under my belt, I'm still on a journey to find the joy in every stride.

Eight weeks prior to this year's race on the 13th of August, I welcomed a running coach into my preparation regime - this is completely new too! Their expert guidance has helped me optimize my performance while also guarding against potential injuries. Coupled with my weekly sports massage, this targeted training has kept me fit and injury-free - Arigato, Coach Matt!

More than just a personal challenge, my City2Surf run supports the Waves of Wellness Foundation, an organization promoting mental health through surf therapy. It's a cause that resonates with my own routine of connecting with nature to uplift my spirit.

Join me in supporting this amazing initiative, making a difference one wave at a time.
